  ok, i didnt think anything about it.

  but last night some friends from across the city called me up and said that the co was visiting their hall and in his talk he said that the society is getting geared up for a massive kingdom hall and assembly hall construction project worldwide next year.

  they told the publishers; "get ready".

  recently shared this with me.. they compared the tiredness they felt after attending an assembly and meetings, and noted how much worse it was than actually working and studying hard for hours for their secular employment!

  why were they so exhausted after an assembly/meeting?

  no, it wasn't satan.

  I understand the frustration, you are not alone.

  The relatively low levels of education in this part of the world means religion will reign supreme regardless of the quality of the religions.

  Unfortunately the indoctrination of the WT's false teachings penetrate all levels of education. We are unique because truth was more important to us.

  Plus each one they sell off, then build again with free labor

  Free Labor, that's the thing I believe most of us forget. Free labor is like money in the bank. Can you imagine if you had 5 million people for free labor and to do your bidding. They would work for you and you didn't have to pay them.

  the number of pyramids in the world just keep going up and up.

  an egyptoligist thinks using satellite scanning technology he has found the remnants of another 17 pyramids in the egypt.

  in central and south american they keep finding more pyramids and in java a couple of years ago they surmised that the riuns their was actually a step pyramid possible the oldest in the world.

  I think we will find that this style of building was easier for ancient people to go higher with. But in ancient times, the same heavy material was used all the way up, so all they really knew was to start with a huge base and to get smaller the higher up they went.

  Hey that's the best explanation I've heard yet. It's simple, it makes sense, and it's not filled with a lot of crock.

  advance directives are complex legal instruments and widely misunderstood by both physicians and their patients.

  with most jehovah's witnesses their is a significant level of misinformation, and in many cases coercion or undue influence exerted on the patient.

  physicians need to be aware of this and always meet privately with the patient to educate them and then ascertain their true wishes.

  The JW patient is given a document which lists the various blood fractions - including hemoglobin (the largest single component of blood besides water) and told to study the relevant scriptures and prayerfully make a conscientious choice

  I know here in the U.S. when JW kids need a transfusion, the government just takes over. And the parents give a sigh of relieve. So the kid here are covered.

  It's my understanding that the announcement concerning the halt in construction was only given at Bethel, and nothing was said to the local Congs

  So we're the only ones who know besides the GB and Bethelites? WTF
